Popular Yorkshire healthy lifestyle eatery comes to Vangarde Shopping Park
An eatery which focuses on healthy products, including gluten-free and vegan options, has opened another branch in a popular York shopping park.
Filmore & Union has opened in Vangarde Shopping Park’s John Lewis store, offering a range of healthy eating products – with the eatery ranked as one of the top 3 healthiest eateries in the UK by the Sunday Times.
The eatery, which has stores all over Yorkshire, has continued to grow in popularity since its launch in 2011. Featuring deli salads, various healthy dishes and bagels, Filmore & Union focuses on catering to all with different dietary requirements, including vegans and those with gluten or dairy intolerances.
The business is run by former wellness clinic owner, Adele Carnell, who through studying various dietary habits and nutritional requirements, has created a brand which has continue to grow in popularity over the last few years.
Adele said: “Our partnership with John Lewis York marks a big milestone for Filmore & Union as it’s our first cafe in a major retail site. We’re thrilled to be working with John Lewis as they are the perfect brand fit for us.
“Our success is due to our loyal customers who share our passion for eating well and we hope to attract many more at John Lewis.”
Deborah O’Donnell, Centre Manager for Vangarde Shopping Park, said: “The opening of Filmore & Union offers another alternative to the great range we have at Vangarde Shopping Park. Healthy eating continues to be a huge focus for a lot of people, so to have an eatery which has an ethos surrounded around healthy lifestyle options is only beneficial for the shopping park.
“The amount of gluten-free and vegan options means that our customers with specific dietary requirements now have more choice than ever before when visiting Vangarde Shopping Park.
“We are delighted to have Filmore & Union here and we are sure they will be very popular with our customers.”
